McKellar Park is close-knit and vibrant community in the west end of Canada's capital city of Ottawa. Our community is within walking distance of the shops and restaurants of Westboro Village. We are known for our parks, our green space, our schools and public services and our family friendly atmosphere.

Latest news

The Community Meeting to discuss your association's traffic proposals was held at the Dovercourt Recreation Centre on Monday April 20th at 7pm. There was an outstanding attendance to hear the presentations. Thank you to everyone who came and added your support and suggestions. To download the presentation click here.

On June 24th Councillor Christine Leadman hosted a community meeting with City officials to discuss the Stop signs at Windermere and Crossfield. The results of this meeting are already visible around the park. The notes from her office on the outcome can be read here.

The MPCA has been working for years to ensure the needs of the neighbourhood are taken into account in the city's planning. A major milestone was achieved recently with the adoption of the Westboro/Richmond Road Community Design Plan as a Secondary Plan. To download the full press release click here.
